Will AI steal your job..?. Is your job at risk, either now or in…

#artificialintelligence

I interviewed Chat GPT and asked it what jobs it and other Artificial Intelligence services were at risk of replacing. Graham F: Hello ChatGPT, what jobs can you replace? As an Artificial Intelligence (AI) language model, I am not capable of replacing any jobs on my own. However, I can assist in various tasks and make certain jobs easier by automating certain repetitive or time-consuming tasks. That being said, advancements in AI and automation technology have led to the automation of some jobs in fields such as manufacturing, transportation, and data entry.

AI To Replace Humans? How Scary It Is?

#artificialintelligence

Artificial intelligence (AI) is a rapidly developing field that has the potential to revolutionize many aspects of our lives, especially the way we work. One question that has garnered a lot of attention is whether AI will eventually replace human jobs. There is no doubt that AI has the potential to automate certain tasks, and in some cases, it has already begun to do so. For example, AI algorithms can analyze data faster and more accurately than humans, making them well-suited for tasks such as data entry and analysis. In industries such as manufacturing and transportation, robots and automation have already replaced many jobs that were previously done by humans.

Can SoftBank convince more restaurants to use robots?

#artificialintelligence

SoftBank's vision is one filled with more robots. The Japanese conglomerate has made a string of investments in robotics companies from cleaning to warehouses in the few years. Now it wants to bring robots to restaurants, which are facing a shortage of human workers. SoftBank Robotics America, a subsidiary of SoftBank, has partnered with Gausium, a Chinese robotics startup, to expand its autonomous cleaning and service robots to the US. With the purpose of automating certain tasks, the Scrubber 50 Pro can scrub, sweep, dust, mop, and sanitize.

How can Artificial Intelligence Boost the Manufacturing Industry?

#artificialintelligence

Today, most of the Giant industries, around 83 percent, believe that AI delivers better outcomes; however, only 20 percent have embraced this technology. It is pretty clear that a stronghold on the domain is important for successfully adopting artificial intelligence in the manufacturing industry. Domain expertise is important for successfully adopting artificial intelligence in the manufacturing industry. Jointly, they form Industrial AI that uses machine learning algorithms in domain-specific industrial applications. AI can be potentially used in the manufacturing industry through machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision.

AI not expected to lead to net job losses - study

#artificialintelligence

A report from a Government advisory group has found that net job losses are not expected as a result of the adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI). The Expert Group on Future Skills Needs said that many jobs will change as certain tasks are taken over by AI and that the technology has the potential to bring substantial productivity increases. It comes amid concerns that automation will lead to job displacement and unemployment as machines take over jobs once done by humans. Minister for Trade Promotion, Digital and Company Regulation Robert Troy has welcomed the publication of the report. It highlights the need for everyone, regardless of whether they work in tech or not, to have some level of knowledge and understanding of AI. "The report finds that AI is not likely to bring about a net loss of jobs, but it will replace certain tasks within many jobs over time," Mr Troy said.

What AI Can? What AI Cannot?

#artificialintelligence

We all will collectively accept the truth that nowadays almost everyone is selling their software by saying that it contains AI and it is really very popular amongst everyone. It's like if you want to start a discussion about any IT topic, the hot topic you find there will be AI. And everyone loves to speak about it confidently and pour out their own self-imagined concepts, which are mostly nowhere near to reality, though it's good that people are taking interest in such topics. Also, I will try not to be too much technical and will explain most of the things in Layman's Terms. If you want a more detailed and technical article about AI you can check my other article.

Artificial Intelligence -- An Asset For Marketing

#artificialintelligence

Changes in purchasing behavior and the multitude of contact channels have exploded the volume of data available to brands. The challenge for marketing today is to be able to take advantage of this quantity of data in order to enrich its strategy. Artificial Intelligence therefore appears to be a response to this challenge as it makes it possible to process large quantities of data. Thanks to this new technology, companies can now benefit from more relevant analyzes and information. Among the benefits of this technology, campaigns can be optimized and better oriented thanks to better customer knowledge and anticipation of future trends.

How AI Is Making Software Development Easier For Companies And Coders

#artificialintelligence

AI-based tools can autocomplete lines of code and also check for bugs. Artificial intelligence is the result of coding, and now coding is the result of artificial intelligence. Yes, AI has come full circle, because more companies and more coders are using it to aid the software development process. Now, software developers can use AI to write and review code, detect bugs, test software, and even optimize development projects. And thanks to such aids, not only can companies deploy new software and apps more efficiently, but a whole new generation of developers can learn to code more easily.

Gaining a Competitive Edge With Machine Learning

#artificialintelligence

Can machines think and act as humans can do? If this question fascinates you, this article is a good read for you. By now, most companies understand the value of machine learning in data processing. Those that have the means are already investing in technologies fueled by artificial intelligence. In this post, you will become familiar with the basic concepts of machine learning and the scope of its application in business.

The Jobs Robots Can't Do (At Least Not Yet)

#artificialintelligence

In the age of artificial intelligence, predicting which jobs will fall to automation is as much about what machines can do as it is about what they can't. More than half of all jobs in America -- both blue and white-collar -- are resistant to automation, according to an acclaimed study published in 2013 by two Oxford University researchers. Co-author Carl Benedikt Frey, who directs Oxford's Technology and Employment program, broke down three areas where human intelligence still beats artificial intelligence: perception and manipulation, social intelligence; and creativity. Each type has what Frey calls a "bottleneck," which slows the pace at which certain workforces can be automated. The premise is simple: Technology won't replace human workers if it can't do the job.
